The oil cooler hose circulates oil between the oil cooler and engine, effectively preventing engine overheating. If the hose fails, you may experience oil leakage or low oil warning alerts. The oil cooler hose consists of a synthetic rubber inner tube with a partial stainless steel reinforcement inner braid.
With an SS braid on the outside, it is exceptionally lightweight, flexible, and durable. The rubber hose with stainless steel overbraid offers extra protection against abrasion, making it ideal for swaging or when using hose clips.
Primarily used with automatic transmission fluid and other lubricating oil systems.
Temperature Range: -104 ºF to + 302 ºF (-40ºC to + 150 ºC)
